ISEB Qualifications

ISEB qualifications add value to professional careers by providing both the means and the platform for recognition and enhanced career development. Qualifications are designed to be both accessible and relevant. They cover all major areas of IS including Project Management, System Development, Service Delivery and Quality.

In 2006 ISEB designed a new framework to bring their range of qualifications under a common structure.

Qualification Levels

ISEB have aligned their qualifications into the following levels:

• I - Foundation certificates cover the breadth of a particular subject area.
• II - Practitioner and Essentials certificates represent a deeper understanding of a subject area or a particular topic in that subject area.
• III - Specialist and Management Certificates, or Diplomas indicate an individual has a broad understanding of the subject area and/or has demonstrated the skills and understanding to manage in that area.

Coming soon:

• IV - Professional Accreditation indicating the individual has achieved a Level III qualification in a specialist area combined with an appropriate set of Level I or II qualifications in other areas.
